Welcome to My Website

.

When Lindsey Vonn had to pull out of the Sochi Winter Olympicswith a knee injury, it not only robbed NBC of the chance to showTiger Woods during its broadcast, but it deprived the network of one of the faces of the Games that it so desperately craves. In addition to being a world class athlete, Vonn is well known and beautiful — a network promotional executive's dream.
While a missing Vonn doesn't help NBC, there are plenty of other athletes representing the United States that the Peacock will try to get the audience to care about. These eight athletes are likely to get the star treatment and get hearts racing for their athletic talent… and more.
Ashley Wanger, Figure Skating — Wagner is sure to get all sorts of attention after she finished fourth at the Olympics Trials and was put on the team anyway. The fact that she has a lot of sponsors hoping to cash in on her looks should she win a medal probably had nothing to do with it.
Julia Mancuso, Alpine Skiing — She's going to slot into the role that Vonn would've played. Not only does she have the looks to pull that off, but she has her own line of underwear called "Kiss My Tiara." At the 2010 Games in Vancouver, Mancuso passed out thongs to fellow competitors.
Zach Parise, Men's Hockey — Studies have shown that women make up a large chunk of Olympic viewers, so it's only right that there's plenty of eye candy on that side of the ledger as well. Parise, normally a winger for the Minnesota Wild, has the sort of rugged good looks that one would expect from a hockey player…and all of his teeth.
Ellery Hollingsworth, Snowboarding — Since it doesn't appear that swimsuit model Clair Bidez nor Instagram hottie Hannah Teter are going to make the team, Hollingsworth should be next in line to carry on the tradition of snowboarders that can make temperatures rise.
Gretchen Bleiler/Elena Hight, Snowboarding — OK, so women's snowboarding is to the Winter Games what beach volleyball is to summer…just with more clothing. Bleiler, who's been around long enough to have some name recognition outside of the X-Games set, and Hight, who's Hawaiian, are the next most likely candidates besides Hollingsworth to gain new followers. Really, there should just be a reality show devoted to the whole group of them.
Bode Miller, Alpine Skiing — Along with snowboarder Shaun White, Miller is probably the best known of the returning athletes. This will be his fifth Olympics and probably his swan song. Since he's aged in much the same way as David Beckham — seemingly getting better looking — NBC will be sure to give him plenty of attention.
Lolo Jones, Bobsledding — There's no guarantee that Jones will actually make the squad, but if she does, there will be an NBC camera assigned to follow the Summer Olympics hurdler and proponent of abstinence at all times.

How This One Trick Could Transform Your Body

Reading about sports these days, we are constantly bombarded with news of top notch athletes being exposed for using illegal steroids.
Steroid use involves huge costs, legal issues, and above all, potential health problems. With such risks, you wonder why anyone would be tempted to go this route.
Fortunately, steroid use may eventually be a thing of the past.  That’s because medical researchers studying how the human body builds muscle and endurance are developing safe and legal substances which can increase the body's ability to build muscle, without the health risks associated with steroids.
One of the most interesting fields of research surrounds a naturally occurring chemical compound called nitric oxide. Nitric oxide is a vasodilator, which means it helps move oxygen to the muscles when they need it most. Increased nitric oxide in the blood stream signals the blood vessel walls to relax, which allows more blood to flow to the body's muscles, thus delivering more oxygen and nutrients throughout the body.
It’s been shown to lead to:
  • Drastic Muscle Gains
  • Increased Blood Flow and Oxygen Delivery
  • Boosted Strength, Endurance, and Power
  • Support for Your Immune System
  • Immediate Results
  • Total Body Transformation
While the body naturally increases nitric oxide during workouts, it’s only a limited amount and researchers have been focused on artificially increasing your nitric oxide levels.
One of the most successful products that has emerged from this research is called Factor 2.  It uses "arginines," special amino acids specifically linked to nitric oxide production to significantly increase oxygen and nutrient flow to the muscles during workouts.  As a result, it can safely spark powerful muscle growth, muscle definition, and strength.
Factor 2 produces noticeable results by maximizing your muscle gains as you power through your workouts and within a few weeks, users are starting to notice additional muscle definition and strength.
Factor 2 is now the recognized leader in nitric oxide stimulation and legal, safe muscle and strength enhancement.  It was Bodybuilding.com’s Best New Brand of the Year (2011) and pro athletes are taking note.
Best of all, the company is currently conducting a marketing campaign where new customers can receive a two-week supply of the supplement to try for free. While the Factor 2 free trial offer is available only on ForceFactor.com, Factor 2 brand products are available in GNC stores nationwide.

It’s called the SENSA® Weight Loss System, and it’s one of the most talked-about weight loss products on the market today – featured in The New York Times, Time Magazine, and Dateline NBC.
SENSA® boldly claims to help users lose weight. Supposedly all users have to do is shake scented "Tastants" on their food, and watch the weight come off.
We were skeptical to say the least.
The SENSA® Weight Loss System goes against everything we’ve been taught about losing weight, so we dug a little deeper to find out the truth about SENSA®. Is it just another weight loss scam or does SENSA® actually work?
Our intrigue and skepticism soon turned to excitement as we uncovered what could be the future weapon in the war on obesity.
Is SENSA® the Celebrity Weight Loss Secret?

Star of Bravo’s The Millionaire Matchmaker, Patti Stanger recently told Access Hollywood she lost 30 pounds in 8 months* using SENSA®, and says it fits perfectly into her busy schedule.
“I noticed my body was changing and the weight was just coming off,” says Patti, who was named byEXTRA as one of the most amazing weight loss success stories of 2010. “SENSA® fits perfectly into my lifestyle, because I don't have to count calories, eat prepackaged meals or even stick to a traditional diet to lose weight.”
Patti’s dramatic weight loss has been featured in US WeeklyPeople Magazine, and Life & Stylewhere she was quoted as saying, "SENSA® was the easiest solution. You just shake the pounds away."
SENSA® Reviews in the Media

Naturally – because of SENSA®’s unique method to help you lose weight – this product has been getting a lot of media attention.

Featured in sources like Harper’s Bazaar and Dateline NBC, the media-sphere can’t seem to get enough of SENSA®.
We found the following reviews from these respected publications:

"The key to eating less may be right under your nose." – Good Housekeeping
"SENSA®...when sprinkled on food, heightens smell and taste to trick [you] into thinking you're full." – InStyle
"A slimmer you may be a whiff away." -- New York Times
How to Try SENSA® Free*

The company behind SENSA® thought people might be cynical about trying their product, especially when so many traditional diet products fail. But, that’s what we found so interesting about SENSA®--it’s not really a traditional diet at all. And, with all of this media attention, we figured it was worth recommending.

Can Free Testosterone Supplements Help Your Sex Life?

If you're like most guys, you love having energy, being able to have a built and toned body, and —probably the most important of all— having a solid sex drive.
And one of the most important ingredients in keeping that edge? Maintaining healthy free testosterone levels.

There are a lot of smart, simple ways to make that happen. Experts suggest keeping a healthy weight, eating right, and working out regularly because these can all boost levels of free testosterone in the body. Cutting sugars and processed foods from your diet, getting enough sleep, not smoking, and taking proper supplements can also help.

To this last point, there's a new free testosterone booster being sold at GNC that's on its way to becoming one of the nutrition giant's top 10 grossing products in a matter of months. Known as Test X180 Ignite it actually triggers the body to raise free testosterone levels naturally.
Test X180 Ignite relies on well-researched natural testosterone boosting ingredients, including a very rare fenugreek seed extract known as Testofen. According to lab studies, the product has no harmful side effects, and when paired with a strength-training routine has been shown to deliver improvements in building lean muscle in just days.

What's more, men who have used Test X180 Ignite report their sex drive skyrocketing, insane boosts in energy, enhanced performance, and incredible lean muscle and endurance gains. One of those users is San Francisco football pro Vernon Davis, who says, "I take it every day to ensure that I'm 150% out on the field. In order to be the best tight end out there, I need to feel confident and unbeatable, and that's what I get from Test X180 Ignite. And the ladies love it, too, of course."

Like with any supplement, it's best to see if it actually works for your body before making a major investment. Fortunately, the makers of Test X180 Ignite are so confident in their new product they are offering every man in the country a risk-free sample.

Looking and feeling like a strong, virile man is awesome, and being able to score that edge is possible — especially in bed. With Test X180 Ignite and some smart, simple and healthy habits, you can be living the life you want and more.

How to Get Beautiful, Soft, Kissable Lips in 10 Minutes

When it comes to looking beautiful, lips are where it's at. That's the finding from a group of scientists at Manchester University who conducted a study that tracked the eye movements of 50 men. They discovered that lips represent one of the most sensual aspects of a woman’s body and play a critical role in human sexual attraction.

The practice of enhancing one's lips dates back as far as the Ancient Egyptians and has only gotten more popular over time. From September 2012 through August 2013, the cosmetics industry generated $665 million on lip products alone, and that number is only expected to grow. There's also been an increasing number of women resorting to cosmetic procedures such as Restylane injections or costly thermage— a hot radio frequency treatment popular among A-list celebrities — to boost collagen levels and tighten skin around the mouth.

For most women, these procedures are prohibitively expensive, and can come with an even greater price: painful recovery, bruising, swelling, allergic reactions and worse. And, as you've no doubt seen on some aging celebrities, they sometimes make a person look extremely fake.

The Real Issue

As we age, we lose collagen in our lips. Sun, smiling and simply living life also form fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth area, thinning and drying that tender tissue. Together, these two factors make lips look thin, old, and angry.

There are over-the-counter lip plumping products, but they deliver mixed results. These gels and balms achieve their results by irritating the lips, causing them to temporarily redden and swell. Results vary. For some women with strong skin, they achieve the desired effect. But more often than not they can sting, and in some cases cause redness that resembles a rash. Plus, they only offer a temporary fix.
The real way to achieve long lasting lip rejuvenation is by increasing the collagen in your lips, and then sustaining those gains with extreme moisture.
One new product garnering a lot of attention in the beauty world is called City Lips. It helps women grow fuller, softer, more beautiful lips in minutes — safely and painlessly — without any medical procedure or questionable irritants. And, after 30 days, creates long-lasting results.

How Does City Lips Work?

City Lips stimulates your lips' own natural collagen production. Using a patented ingredient called Celadrin as well as an exclusive blend of poly-peptides, City Lips aids in cellular renewal and reduces the breakdown of newly formed collagen, giving you fuller, more beautiful lips with continued use. It then reduces lines and adds incredible moisture with Hyaluronic acid — a naturally occurring substance in your body — that delivers instantly younger lips while also making them kissably soft and smooth.

Results can be seen within 10 minutes, and a study conducted with City Lips users found that the average lip plump lasted from four to six hours. With twice daily use, long term results were seen in just a few weeks.
City Lips is manufactured in an FDA-approved laboratory and is safe to use while pregnant or nursing. The company also offers a 60-day money-back guarantee so you can test it out for yourself.

Money, fame, power, happiness — stars give up on all of this way too easily.
Look at Justin Bieber. A confused boy in a grown-up celebrity world proclaims he plans on retiring.
Why? Not enough backward hats, questionable women and spotlights for him? Maybe he perceived his status would eventually nosedive into oblivion. Beating that nosedive to the punch could save him the embarrassment of fading away into celebrity hell, one in which "starring" on Dancing with the Stars is a career revival.
Bieber isn't the only celebrity who has said he's stepping down. Remember when Joaquin Phoenix said he was hanging it up? How long did that last?
What about Tim Robbins? Obviously he's still around.
Jay-Z called it quits. That retirement ended quickly.
Celebrities, musicians and athletes throw that word around way too often. And carelessly. We don't want to see these stars throw their talent away. If you’re burnt out then just say it.
Don’t play the public and say it's all done. Michael Jordan retired from the NBA. Twice.
There is something amusing about watching a star's comeback. But at the same time, their previous retirements are definitely disingenuous.
The Bieb needs to make up his damn mind. He still has fans even though he has grown up to be a punk. Bieber is no longer the cute, high school aged youngster. Bask in the spotlight while you still can. When the fan love is gone, then toss it away.
Besides, there's no rush to pump out an album. Honestly, how many people do you know clamoring for a new Bieber album? Very few.

Bill Gates net worth: Bill Gates is an American business magnate, chairman of Microsoft, philanthropist, author, and one of the richest people in the world who has a net worth of $78.2 billion dollars. Gates co-founded the software company Microsoft with Paul Allen, and is known as one of the premiere entrepreneurs of the personal computer revolution. Gates graduated from Lakeside School in 1973, scoring 1590 out of 1600 on the SAT, and enrolled at Harvard College in the autumn of 1973.
With the release of the MITS Altair 8800 based on the Intel 8080 CPU, Gates and Allen saw this as the opening they needed to create their own computer software company. The creators of the new microcomputer, Micro Instrumentation and Telemetry Systems (MITS), formed a partnership with Gates and Allen using their Altair emulator that ran on a minicomputer, and then the BASIC interpreter. The trade name "Microsoft" was registered November 26, 1976. During the first five years of the Microsoft company, Gates personally reviewed every line of code the company shipped, often rewriting code as needed. On November 20, 1985, Microsoft launched its first retail version of Microsoft Windows.
Gates and his wife combined three family foundations to create the charitable Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in 2000, the largest transparently operated charitable foundation in the world. Gates announced on June 15, 2006 that he would transition out of his day-to-day role at Microsoft over the next two years in order to dedicate more time to philanthropy.

The picture above?  That's it: that's the whole series.  And darned if it doesn't look like the perfect Emma/Mr. Knightley dynamic – am I right, or am I right? The verbal sparring between Emma Woodhouse (Joanna Sotomura) and Alex Knightley (Brent Bailey) is reason enough to give this series a click.
Emma Approved is a new webseries currently airing on YouTube, created and produced by Pemberley Digital (helmed by Hank Green and Bernie Su – the team behind the Emmy-award winning The Lizzie Bennet Diaries). Like its predecessors, Emma Approved is endlessly innovative when it comes to modernizing Jane Austen's novel of (almost the same) name.

This present-day characterization of Emma is pitch-perfect – she somehow manages to straddle the line between insufferable and adorable with aplomb; just as she should. Her self-centeredness is tempered wonderfully with genuine regard for assistant Harriet Smith; her persistent over-confidence is forgiven when we realize just how much she cares. About everything.

Oh, and don't worry, it's not the second coming of Clueless (let's not mess with perfection!) – it brings something entirely different to the table. This version of Emma Woodhouse runs a matchmaking/lifestyle business with her level-headed sparring partner, Alex Knightley. Harriet is her naïve assistant/protégé, the farmer Mr. Martin is a lowly IT geek, Mr. Elton is a (slimy) politician-on-the-rise, and we haven't met other major players Frank Churchill or Jane Fairfax yet – but we're looking forward to it.

Britney Jean, Album Cover

Somebody over at E! decided to devote a couple of hours of the network's holiday schedule to a shiny new documentary on Britney Spears and her preparations for her "Piece of Me" Vegas residency. Somebody is getting fired.
The two-hour special, I Am Britney Jean, only pulled 706,000 viewers in Sunday primetime on Dec. 22. Its heaviest competition was Sunday Night Football — not exactly the same audience. It's more likely that the viewers E! expected to tune in clicked over to a rerun of NBC's Sound of Music, Live! instead. All the while, Britney's new album, Britney Jean, was dropping like a rock out of the Billboard Top 20. It only sold 107,000 copies in its first week. Dark days for the money-printing machine that was Britney's heavily influenced image.
It's too late for a veil-lifting documentary. The veil has already been lifted and we know this ain't what's underneath. Whatever joy America gets from watching Housewives dump glasses of wine on each other orMiley Cyrus grinding on a teddy bear does not extend to seeing a young woman go through the motions that her publicists and managers dictate while looking like she's taking Walter Mitty-style trips in her head just to escape. Give us a hot mess who's in on the joke and we'll gleefully eat it up. But we don't want to watch Britney get ready to install herself as complementary high-roller benefit when she looks like she'd rather beanywhere else.
No one buys that she has the kind of artistic power that Britney's shown wielding in this special. And while she's polite, warm, and actually quite open, those qualities make E!'s tacky production all the more wince-inducing. Maybe viewers checked out after the first few minutes of the documentary, when the producers chose to leave in a joke that Britney makes comparing her on/off-stage personas to bipolar disorder, one which some believe she actually suffers from.

HOLLYWOOD, CA - DECEMBER 07: TV personality John Henson attends the premiere of Encore's "Method to the Madness of Jerry Lewis" at Paramount Theater on the Paramount Studios lot on December 7, 2011 in Hollywood, California. (Photo by David Livingston/Getty Images)

Angry squirrels, happy camels, and sports superstars: what do they all have in common? They’re key ingredients in some of the funniest commercials from 2013. You might have missed some of these gems while you were fast forwarding past them on your DVR, but there were some very funny ads in the year just past.

Tonight (January 5), TruTV's Funniest Commercials of the Year! will count down the top 20 funniest ads. We were lucky enough to speak to host John Henson about the highly scientific process for determining the year’s funniest spots and whether animals or babies make for funnier ads.
What's the process for finding the year's funniest commercials?
The producers look at commercials from everywhere. Not just from the United States, but from all over the world. They're looking for the most irreverent, creative and hilarious spots of the year. You're talking about 1000s of commercials ... so spots need to be pretty inventive to stand out from the crowd.

Obviously you can't reveal the number one commercial, but what was one of your favorite funny commercials of the year?
I'm always fascinated by commercials from other countries. Different cultures have different sensibilities and different standards, so European commercials tend to be much racier than commercials here in the US. And in Asia, they have can get pretty crazy. If you've ever seen Japanese TV, you know they love absurd humor. It's pretty amazing.

Important question: what makes for a funnier commercial, animals or babies?
Good question! There's an old saying in the entertainment business ... never work with animals or babies. They both steal focus. So by that logic, baby animals would be the funniest of all, right?

What's your favorite part of hosting Funniest Commercials of the Year?
This is my second year doing this special and I LOVE it. Doing a clip show like this reminds me of my days on Talk Soup. And the producers and the execs at TruTV are really generous with allowing me to try new jokes and improvise, etc. So the tapings are a lot of fun for me. Hopefully, they end up being half as much fun to watch so they'll let me do more!

FLASH FORWARD - Pilot Gallery (ABC/BOB D'AMICO) JACK DAVENPORT, PEYTON LIST, SONYA WALGER, ZACHARY KNIGHTON, JOSEPH FIENNES, JOHN CHO, COURTNEY B. VANCE, BRIAN O'BYRNE, CHRISTINE WOODS

It’s sad when a series with a great cast, solid writing, and a fascinating premise doesn’t get a chance. Sometimes, it just boils down to timing.FlashForward came at the tail end of Lost. An ensemble cast united around a strange and mysterious event was a tough sell for two different series on the same network.FlashForward was unable to find its footing.
For two minutes and seventeen seconds, the entire world blacks out. While knocked out, they all have visions of their future, a “flashforward.” A team of FBI agents is drafted with investigating it, led by Mark Benford (Joseph Fiennes) and Demetri Noh (John Cho). These visions start to affect everyone around the world because with no context how can people reconcile their visions. The department also starts to question whether the phenomenon was man-made by the quantum experiments of Dr. Lloyd Simcoe (Jack Davenport) and Dr. Simon Campos (Dominic Monaghan).
The series is fascinating because not only does it set up a season-long mystery, it also manages to call into question free will. Are these people meant to make these visions come to pass or can they be changed? The series is also a little smarter than a show like Lost because it isn’t one big clandestine mystery for mystery’s sake. The series is following a trajectory outlined in the pilot episode.
The casting is really great too. Fiennes was great in Shakespeare in Love and has since made some notable television appearances. After his successful role in Coupling but before appearing on Smash, Davenport’s character of a lovable widower with an autistic son is an interesting choice for a potential rival for Mark Benford’s wife. Also, a pre-Happy Endings  Zachary Knighton stars as a cancer survivor with renewed hope when his flashforward reveals a potential love connection. Plus, the incomparable John Cho playing his hand at drama is a treat.
FlashForward is an amazing binge watch. Not only will you be starving for answers after the first episode but you also get the luxury of watching it all in a few sittings. The entire series is available on Hulu.
