Picture shows; DAVID TENNANT as the Tenth Doctor in the 50th Anniversary Special - The Day of the Doctor
It's been almost four years since he last donned the Tenth Doctor's tight pinstripes, but David Tennant didn't miss a beat when he returned to Doctor Who in the 50th Anniversary special. Every actor who's played the face-changing Time Lord has left a legacy on the series, but there's no denying that Tennant is a fan favorite. From classic catchphrases to bro-ing out with Matt Smith's Eleventh Doctor, here are our favorite David moments from "Day of the Doctor."

Despite the fact that she appears to have been sleepwalking through most of her performances since her infamous meltdown, Britney Spears insisted last week that she always sings live when asked whether she would be lip-synching during her upcoming run of 'Piece Of Me' shows in Las Vegas. While the disastrous response to her previous Femme Fataletour suggests her claims are nonsensical, there have been at least a handful of occasions when the troubled star has made the effort to switch her mic on. Here's a look at five examples of her on-stage vocal prowess.

Spritz on some perfume and get to work, because the wait for Britney Spears' new album is over! Sure, it isn't technically released until next week, but the pop superstar announced via her Instagram account that her eighth studio album, Britney Jean, will be available to stream for free on iTunes all week... just in time for your long, holiday car ride. But, in order to appreciate the new album, and the Spears of today, we must first pay homage to the superstar of yesteryear, by celebrating the streaming of Britney Jean with a Week of Britney.

Recently NBC ordered a pilot for a Maya Rudolph variety show that we really hope gets picked up. Rudolph is one of the funniest ladies in comedy right now. She, like Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, got her start onSaturday Night Live and has made the leap from New York to Hollywood. Since we can’t contain our excitement at the prospect of a variety show, let’s look back on Rudolph’s best roles.

Former Vice President and Presidental candidate Al Gore has become a vegan in hopes of lessening his enviornmental impact. But as an added bonus, he's joining dozens of fad-diet obsessives who will be sure to tag him in all of their sanctimonious before and after Facebook photos. So now that Gore has begun his quest to hip-dom, what other new outlets will he explore as he sheds his dull, out of touch veneer?

Deadline reports that FX is preparing yet another historical mini series: THE CODE will be based on James McBride's novel SONG YET SUNG describing the life of famous abolitionist Harriet Tubman. Born a slave, she escaped and, with the help of the hard-bitten white watermen of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, fostered an intricate escape network of secret routes and safe houses known as the Underground Railroad that she used to smuggle more than 300 slaves to the North. The main character will be Liz, a black woman making a desperate dash to freedom, on the run from an able slave catcher, who takes on one last job only to find himself in a war against a notorious female slave stealer. As Liz makes her way through forbidding swamplands using the black codes of the underground, the complexities of slavery play out in full force, pitting slave against slave, white against white, and plantation owner against plantation owner!

Super Fun Night

Rebel Wilson was on fire after the success of Pitch Perfect and her scene-stealing role in Bridesmaids. She has proven her acting chops by shining in every role she’s had including a lovable loser in Struck by Lightning, a nurse in Pain & Gain and a bride-to-be in the indie comedyBachelorette. However, her series Super Fun Night is on the verge of being cancelled.

Outside of the brutally violent arena, our Hunger Games stars engage in another form of competition. While the stakes are decidedly lower (fortunately, no one's mortality is in question), some watch the red carpet with as shrewd an eye as the Capitol patrons who watch the 24 tributes fight to the death in the Games.

Series 3 generic shoot

The Inbetweeners is a British import that not only brings the funny but also manages to go to a place an American series couldn’t go. A group of dorky teenagers try to make it through high school, meet girls, and be cool. But unlike in America, they’re actual nerds. Their social failure is an entertainment win. These lovable losers form a quartet of comedians. Think of it as Freaks and Geeks meets American Pie, if the few cool kids disappeared.

THE MINDY PROJECT: Danny (Chris Messina, R) learns Peter (guest star Adam Pally, L) is good with patients in the "Magic Morgan" episode of THE MINDY PROJECT airing Tuesday, Oct. 8 (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. ©2013 Fox Broadcasting Co. Cr: Eddy Chen/FOX

Although fans of Happy Endings were sad to see the show cancelled by ABC this past spring, one of the stars, Adam Pally, has landed a new gig as Doctor Peter Prentice on Fox’s The Mindy Project. (Although unfortunately, now The Mindy Project itself is being put on hiatus untilBrooklyn 9-9 finishes its freshman season in Mindy's former timeslot.) Peter was hired at Mindy’s practice to replace Paul Leotard (guest star James Franco) who was brought on to replace Mindy when she went to Haiti at the end of season one; whew, that was complicated. Now, Peter is a permanent fixture at the doctor’s office and we couldn’t be happier.
Since joining the cast early in the show’s second season, Pally has brought a new kind of raunchy, frat-boy humor to The Mindy Project, which the show was sorely lacking. Recently, Peter convinced Morgan, a nurse at the practice, to sext one of Mindy’s love interests on her behalf when they found her phone. Pally had one of the best lines of the whole episode — maybe the whole season — when he said, “If a girl doesn’t respond to me immediately, she’s either stuck-up, dead, or living in an elevator, all three of which are deal breakers.”
Even for those of us who were huge fans of The Mindy Project before Pally joined the cast, he has quickly become one of our favorite characters — surpassing Betsy and Beverly, who haven’t been around much this year. Dare we say it: he might even be funnier than Jeremy (and maybe even more charming since Jeremy has been going through some stuff recently.) Pally is certainly our favorite new character this season and we’re happy he’s going to stick around.

The lovely and talented star of Grimm, Bitsie Tulloch, gives us the scoop on this season's changes, chats about her feature film Parkland and how she went from Harvard, to Hollywood, to Portland.

Danny Trejo is Bad Ass

Do you guys remember Epic Beard Man? He became Internet famous back in early 2010 when a video was posted of him punching the living daylights out of some random dude on an Oakland city bus. These real-life events have now inspired a Machete-like action motion picture starring the one and only Danny Trejo.

In Bad Ass, Decorated Vietnam vet Frank Vega returns home only to be shunned by society leaving him without a job. It's not until forty years later that an incident on a commuter bus makes him a local hero. But his good fortune turns for the worse when his best friend is murdered and the police aren't doing anything about it. No Words...

One of the delightful romantic comedies which will set the mood for the Valentines Day next year when it premiers on January 31st is hilarious comedy THAT AWKWARD MOMENTS. Today you can see charming new character posters for the film starring three young heartthrobs Zac Efron, Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, and two gorgeous young ladies Imogen Poots and Jessica Lucas. The original title of the movie was ARE WE OFFICIALLY DATING before it was changed?

Insane New Trailer for Tim & Eric's Billion Dollar Movie

In the upcoming comedy-action extravaganza starring Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim of Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, two guys get a billion dollars to make a movie, only to watch their dreams run off course. In order to make the money back, they then attempt to revitalize a failing shopping mall. John C. Reilly, Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis also star.

John Cho, Sleepy Hollow

Most recently, he's lit up our screens as the tortured and surprisingly good-natured demon servant Andy Brooks on this season's freshman hit Sleepy Hollow, and we've also enjoyed his performances in the twoStar Trek reboots, the ever-hilarious Harold and Kumar trilogy, and on the small screen in Go On and FlashForward....

Don't Trust the B in Apt 23

You can’t afford to miss Don’t Trust the B in Apartment 23. The series has all of the makings of a long-lasting television series. It has a stellar cast including TV darling Krysten Ritter (Veronica Mars, Breaking Bad). It has a groundbreaking pilot that subverts what you expect from a television sitcom. It capitalizes on the success of memes featuringJames Van Der Beek and has awesome writing. The cast is comprised mostly of seemingly unlikeable characters that form an ensemble you’d die to be part of.

THE GREAT GATSBY, Leonardo DiCaprio, 2013, Warner Bros. Pictures/courtesy Everett Collection

Leonardo DiCaprio may look like he has it all: the other half of Scorcese's friendship locket; a revolving door of otherwordly Brazialian girlfriends; and the top spot on Kate Winslet's speed dial. But as far as the internet is concerned, there's a gaping hole in this charmed life. Leo still doesn't have an Oscar. After Titanic, it felt like a snub. For a few years after that, the situation was curious. And now it's so preposterous that it's downright comical. Ever obliging, the good people on Tumblr have turned their pain and disbelief into art. Behold, the best of the Oscar hates Leonardo DiCaprio memes.

Well, Saturday marks the 21st birthday of the one and only Miley Cyrus, and we've found ourselves getting a bit emotional about our favorite little Hannah Montana growing up. We can't help but fondly look back at all of the wonderful life lessons that Miley has graciously (and dramatically) given us......
